"Anitya" : Nothing is "nitya", nothing is permanent : Impermanance...

This is the real truth and the only truth... Everything is transitory. Nothing is forever.
Everything exists in opposites. What is now, is not later... and vice versa. We see this truth daily, but find it difficult to internalise. There is day and there is night, high tide and low tide, rain and shine. Life and death.

In this reality of impermanance, ability to maintain equanimity i.e. samatha, is the secret to all happiness. Not being swayed either by too much joy or too much sorrow..... With this realisation, Bhavathu sabba mangalam.. let everyone be happy.
