Ramblings of an idle mind

Am blogging after a very long gap. After creating this blog in June 05, did not bother to even log in for so long.

So here I am at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, joblessly creating a blog. I should say thanks to Jet airways for having delayed my Mum - Pune flight by 90 mts. They say the incoming flight from Koklatta is delayed by fog. Never knew that Kolkatta also has fog problems . Thought that was a Capital Prerpgative reserved for Dilli!!!. Am sure the fog there in Kolkatta is because of either of two reasons :
a) The Saurav Fans Association burnt a lot of bonfires last nite rejoicing at his being selected / retained in the Indian team> ( After losing his Captaincy)
b) The Bihari babus are burning a lot of Laloo effigies , now that he has lost his CMship after 15 years of corrupted power politics. Ans the smoke of that is drifting over the rest of the country, starting with Kolkatta. If I had an effigy, I would also gladly give my last matchstick to burn that down!!!!

I hope it is the latter reason that is creating the fog that delayed my flight that enabled me to write this blog.

But the real reason is that I was enthused by Srinaths blog. Had a look at it today and realised that you can create a blog which is also cool to look at. Almost like a webpage. Should learn to do that from Sri. Perpetual learning. That is the wonder of IT . It reinvents the way life is run and one needs to learn and adapt fast . More often than not, from generations younger than yours. Make way for the kids, the world is theirs......
