A travelogue.... Coimbatore to Madurai, Thiruchendur, Kanya Kumari, Vaikom and back...

The travel bug has bitten.... a bit of TN and a bit of Kerala, a travel on all three coasts of the Indian peninsula....the coasts of the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea all in one trip....

Starting tomorrow Friday 30th May 2014 early morning to Madurai. Hope to visit the Madurai Meenakshi temple http://www.maduraimeenakshi.org/ and other sights.

Plan to stay the night at Madurai and leave the next day ( 1st June Saturday) for Thiruchendur... the temple on the beach!!!  http://tiruchendur.org/

Then off to the southern most tip of India on 2nd June ... Kanya Kumari . Longing to visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and other sights ( Amman temple, Suchindram temple, the beaches et al).

Move on to Vaikom in Kerala and experience a homestay on 4th and 5th June...

Intend to be back in Coimbatore on 6th June....
